Architect of Acid Muse Art Gallery and Music Productions. An aspiring computer animation geek, and musical minimalist. Representing Arizona's Kingz of the Jungle, & Oregon's Phantomhertz.com, and Endless Nights Productions.
Aurei is one of the most versatile female DJ’s in the Northwest. She's been rockin' the club and rave scene for over 10 years, and to most, would be considered and "old schooler". Indiscriminate of genre's and constantly exploring new sounds, she can drop any one of her favorite styles and consistently be a crowd pleaser.
Drum n Bass and Jungle had been the inspiring Tunes in the 90's that drove her to want to be a DJ/Producer. With influences beginning with DJ SS, Andy C, Kip Killagain, Aphrodite and LTJ Bukem, She found the inspiration she needed to tear up any dance-floor.
Aurei interviewed for BPM Magazine in 2005, and starred on the Midwest's Radio Show "Bomb That Bass" several times. She’s gained worldwide recognition for her progressive breakbeat remix of Rocktronik’s “Things You Do” on PeakHourMusic.com, and her Electro Remix of "Such A Feeling" on PeakHourMusic.com. She has also created a free-flowing minimal breakbeat remix of Bitstream Dreams “Khronoa”, and is currently collaborating with many dub-step and drum n bass producers for multiple projects. Although she seems as though she's a "bedroom producer", her personal production library outweighs her record bag.
She has held many residencies in Portland's top local clubs & graced the decks regularly with some of the finest in the industry. She's gone head to head with some of the Northwest's biggest jungle heads in the Portland DnB Battles to tear it up and blow people away.
Aurei has always been strong in her programming skills and picks out tunes to blend them in a way that doesn't just make it a great dance-floor experience, but a spiritual one too. She is dedicated to making people have a great time and share her life experiences with everyone through a musical journey.
